On Friday, June 11 a Missa Solemnis (Solemn High Mass) will be offered at 7PM at the Carmelite Monastery in Philadelphia PA..

All are invited to attend this special celebration in Honor of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Presuming Confession and Holy Communion, a plenary indulgence may be gained as the Act of Reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Litany of the Sacred Heart will be solemnly prayed before the exposed Most Blessed Sacrament.

Rev. Fr. Harold B. McKale, Chaplain to St. John Neumann Center for Rehabilitation & Interim Chaplain to the Carmelite Monastery will be offering the Mass.  Rev. Fr. Gerald Carey, Pastor, at Our Lady of the Assumption, Stafford, PA will assist as Deacon and Mr. James Griffin, Acolyte, St John the Baptist Catholic Church (Ordinariate), Bridgeport, PA will assist as Sub-deacon. Rev. Fr. Harold B. McKale will preach. Musical Setting: Missa Tertia by Lajos Bardos. Rebecca Ostermann is the Musical Director & Organist accompanied by a Quartet & Schola.
