The Role of the Parish Pastoral Council 

The Parish Pastoral Council at plays a crucial role in the spiritual and communal life of the church. Their responsibilities include:

  • Nurturing a community: The council seeks to build a community of engaged and full participating believers who delight in worshiping the Lord and serving each other as Two parishes, One Faith, One Mission.
  • Engaging and encouraging: The council encourages all parishioners to become Missionary Disciples of Jesus Christ through ongoing faith formation and service to those most in need and giving witness to the transforming power of the Gospel for our times. 
  • Providing support: The council offers support to the parishioners, ensuring that all can participate fully in the mission and activities of the church. 
  • A welcoming environment: The council strives to foster a sense of welcome and belonging to all who are searching for deeper meaning and purpose in life.

Parish Finance Council

The Role of the Parish Financial Council 

The Parish Financial Council plays a crucial role in the financial administration of the parish. Its primary responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the pastor in the administration of the temporal goods of the parish, ensuring that all assets are preserved and used for their intended purposes.
  • Maintaining financial harmony with the mission of the parish, reviewing and recommending the approval of the annual parish budget, and evaluating long-range financial plans.
  • Providing sound financial information and guidance to the pastor, Parish Pastoral Council, and parish staff, and reviewing financial reports to monitor the financial condition of the parish.
  • Facilitating dialogue between strategic planning initiatives and financial allocation, and being knowledgeable of archdiocesan, legal, accounting, labor, investment and risk management policies related to the good stewardship and overall financial health and stability of the parish.
