Solemnity of Corpus Christi (June 11, 2023)

Dear Parishioner:

Sunday, June 11 is the Solemnity of Corpus Christi-the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. This Sunday marks the second year of the Eucharistic Revival- a grace-filled moment to renew our faith, reverence, love for Jesus, present in the Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist.  We have not had a Procession for a few years.  That is why I have been working on having a Special Mass, with a Procession and Benediction for this Sunday.

Even though you may be attending another Mass this weekend, I invite all of you to join with your fellow parishioners in the 10am Mass this Sunday, June 11, at Saint Charles Church, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, and give public adoration, honor and reverence in a procession with the Most Blessed Sacrament to the Grotto of Our Lady, and there conclude with Benediction.

Immediately following the Benediction, with the help of the Knights of Columbus, we will have a simple cookout with hotdogs, mini soft-pretzel, chips, and refreshments for those who stay to extend the fellowship of this special day.

May our worship of Our Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist bring many blessings to you, your families, and all our partnering parishioners.

God bless,

Monsignor George A. Majoros
